INTEGRATION OF NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION AND CREOLIZED TEXT IN INTERCULTURAL COMMUNICATION: ANALYSIS OF VISUAL MEANS IN COMICS, MANGA, AND MANHWA

Abstract

Annotation. This article examines the creolized text as a tool of intercultural communication, integrating verbal and non-verbal elements into a unified semantic system. The concept, structure, and role of visual components in conveying information are analyzed. Particular attention is given to comics, manga, and manhwa as examples of creolized texts that contribute to effective intercultural interaction. The study demonstrates that the combination of linguistic and graphic means not only facilitates information perception but also forms new communication methods that are comprehensible to representatives of different cultures. The main types of interaction between verbal and visual components are identified, along with their impact on message interpretation. The conclusion highlights the significance of creolized texts in modern information society and their potential in overcoming language barriers.
