Abstract

The article examines the historiography of the problem of deportation of mass peoples to Kazakhstan by the Soviet government in the 1930s-50s. When writing the article, an analysis was conducted using scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists and researchers of great interest. The study analyzed the geographical location, social and legal status of the expelled peoples, their adaptation to the area and substantiated the main relevance of the topic. Also, approaches were used to divide materials into periods in order to describe and analyze historical data. The purpose of the research work is to familiarize yourself with materials on the topic of deportation, analyze materials that used the fates and adaptations of specially deported peoples. Special settlers were representatives of different nationalities, forcibly resettled from all over the Soviet Union. The unsystematic nature of the data on the number of people who moved to the territory of Kazakhstan, the imperfection or complete absence of population accounting methods - do not allow us to determine exactly how many people arrived in the territory of Kazakhstan. Mass deportations not only changed the demographic situation of the region, but also affected almost all spheres of economic, social and cultural life. The land of Kazakhstan involuntarily became a prison for different peoples. The article provides a deep analysis of this study. This work is aimed at a wide range of researchers interested in issues of national history.
