Abstract

Abstract. This article presents a comprehensive review of modern methods and technologies for creating agricultural maps using digital tools and geoinformation systems. In the context of global digitalization, the use of innovative approaches to monitoring, accounting, and managing agricultural lands has become increasingly important. The study examines the theoretical foundations and practical aspects of applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing technologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for the analysis of spatial data and visualization of agricultural areas.

The paper analyzes both domestic and international experiences in implementing digital technologies in the agricultural sector, identifying the main advantages and existing limitations in the process of digital mapping of agricultural lands. Special attention is given to the integration of satellite and climatic data, which enables more accurate assessment of crop conditions, yield forecasting, and timely response to natural and anthropogenic changes. The article also discusses successful examples of using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) for precision farming and spatial analysis of agro-landscapes.

The results of the study demonstrate that digital mapping is an essential component of sustainable agricultural development, providing increased efficiency in land resource management and optimization of production processes. Based on the analysis of scientific sources and practical case studies, specific recommendations are proposed for improving the methodology of agricultural mapping, implementing innovative technologies in land use systems, and developing intelligent decision-support systems in agriculture.
