As a result, the article will be based on statistical information on the number, condition and student composition of mosques-madrasahs and Jewish schools of the Soviet regime, which appeared on the Mangystau Peninsula at the end of the 19th century, by district and by Bolsheviks.

All the data presented in the article clearly demonstrate the steps taken by the tsarist government to establish restrictions and control over religious issues on the Kazakh land.
