INFLUENCE OF GRANULOMETRIC COMPOSITION AND HYDRAULIC CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYCOMPONENT FILTER LOAD ON THE PERFORMANCE OF SURFACE WASTEWATER

Abstract

In research work, the granulometric composition of natural sorbents, internal overburden rocks of coal mining, vermiculite, as well as construction sand and the granulometric composition of a multicomponent mixture prepared in various ratios were modeled. The ratio of components was taken as IMO1:V2:S7, IMO2:V2:S6, IMO2:V3:S5 and the granulometric composition was studied. The hydraulic characteristics of the multicomponent mixture with the established granulometric composition were studied in a laboratory setup. A multicomponent mixture with the content of internal overburden rocks - 20%, vermiculite - 20%, sand - 60% was selected as the type of mixture with effective hydraulic characteristics. It was found that the filtration rate of wastewater under these conditions is 208-354 mm/h. A complex of multicomponent sorbents based on internal overburden rocks of coal production, vermiculite and construction sand allows for sustainable and environmentally safe purification of pollutants in surface wastewater. The results obtained during the research and the scientific provisions developed on their basis will be used in future research aimed at reducing the risk of pollution of the Koskorgan reservoir by purifying surface wastewater from the city of Kentau in the Turkestan region with a complex of polycomponent natural sorbents.
