Abstract
The article analyzes the goals, structure, and scientific foundations of a scientific and pedagogical model for teaching the history of repressed women. The history of repression and the fate of women subjected to political persecution are examined using the example of South Kazakhstan. The main sources include regional archival and museum materials, documents of the State Commission for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression, as well as the works of individual researchers. The relevance of the study lies in the development, testing, and implementation of a model for teaching the history of repressed women in the school history curriculum, aimed at enhancing students’ historical consciousness, cognitive activity, and research skills. The model is implemented through the integration of materials about the life paths, social roles, and public activities of repressed women into the curriculum. The study proposes approaches to the selection of historical sources, their integration into the history curriculum, and effective teaching methods. The scientific and pedagogical model is aimed at developing students’ critical thinking and their ability to analyze historical facts. The article employs historical-documentary, comparative-historical, interactive teaching methods, as well as the general scientific method of modeling. The integrated application of these methods makes it possible to construct a scientific and pedagogical model for teaching the history of repressed women. The proposed model contributes to the introduction of innovative teaching approaches and promotes a deeper understanding of the fate of repressed women.
